JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to Head of Equity and assisting Head of Equity/Head of Investments in
(i) high quality and effective equity research/analysis and recommendations
(ii) portfolio/fund management with strong consistent performance and risk/compliance control
(iii) meet clients/stakeholders expectations, and (iv) other investment related tasks.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Equity research/analysis responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth fundamental analysis (FA) on companies, industries/sectors.
- Conduct other necessary research and analysis on companies, industries/sectors
- Build, maintain, and adjust financial models to support stock/sector investment recommendations, strategy development.
- Deliver effective and timely updates and recommendations, both regularly or as needed.
- Proactively contribute investment ideas, recommendations
- Have ability to identify and evaluate changes, new investment opportunities beyond normal recommendations for portfolios/funds
- Monitor/evaluate the equity market and provide actionable recommendations.
- Expand research to other instruments/markets for stock/ sector recommendations, portfolio strategies.

Portfolio/fund management responsibilities
Assist Head of equity/Head of Investments in
- Develop and propose investment strategies for equity and each fund
- Construct portfolios with agreed strategies within risk budget and compliance with other requirements/policies
- Manage and execute portfolio/fund trade effectively
- Recommend optimal strategies and manage multi asset portfolios across asset classes and sectors, ensuring performance within approved risk and compliance frameworks.
- Monitor and review portfolio performance, attribution, risk profile and make recommendations for adjustments to enhance.
- Maintain and refine financial, portfolio/fund models to support recommendations, investment decisions and strategy development.
- Ensure full compliance with internal policies and regulations.

- Align investment strategies and portfolio decisions with client objectives and risk profiles.
- Communicate performance, market outlook, and portfolio updates effectively, clearly and regularly.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Holds a university degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or equivalent.
Licensed fund management practitioner by the State Securities Commission (SSC).
CFA charterholder is a Must.
Over 7–10 years of experience in capital markets, including investment banking and equity investment management, specifically equity analysis, recommendations and portfolio management
Strong investment skills and mindset, with a deep understanding of companies/sectors/market, portfolio construction and management, market dynamics, and risk management.
Highly dedicated and focused, consistently aiming for high-performance outcomes and client value.
Effective team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Skilled in conducting financial analysis, performing meta-analysis, identifying investment opportunities for recommendations, strategies.
