Senior Fullstack Shopify Developer (Technical Lead)

1. Responsibilities

Lead and mentor the development team, ensuring code quality and best practices.

Analyze client requirements, propose scalable technical solutions, and present solutions clearly to clients.

Design, develop, and maintain Shopify stores, custom themes, and Shopify Apps.

Develop frontend using JavaScript, HTML5, SCSS, ReactJS (preferred).

Develop backend services and APIs using Node.js.

Integrate Shopify with third-party systems through REST API, GraphQL, and Webhooks.

Optimize website performance, SEO, and user experience.

Collaborate with PM, UI/UX, QA, and stakeholders to deliver projects on time.

Participate in code reviews, CI/CD, deployment, and continuous improvement.

2. Requirements

Must Have

5+ years of Fullstack Web Development experience, including 3+ years with Shopify.

Proven experience leading development teams, preferably in an eCommerce or Shopify Agency.

Strong experience with Shopify, Shopify CLI, Liquid, Admin API, Storefront API, GraphQL, Webhooks.

Solid frontend skills: JavaScript, HTML5, SCSS, ReactJS.

Strong backend experience with Node.js.

Experience with Git, CI/CD, and Agile development.

Strong understanding of SEO, web performance optimization, and eCommerce best practices.

Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Nice to Have

Experience with TypeScript, Next.js, Hydrogen, Shopify Plus.

Knowledge of Webpack, Babel, SSR/CSR.

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP/Azure.

Familiarity with automated testing and QA processes.

Ideal Candidate

A hands-on Technical Lead with strong Shopify Fullstack expertise, capable of leading development teams, consulting clients, architecting scalable eCommerce solutions, and delivering high-quality Shopify projects from planning to deployment.
