Delivery Manager
Planning & Risk Management
- Collaborate with non-development departments from the parent company to plan work implementation according to each phase of the organization.
- Lead WBS breakdown, effort estimation, and resource allocation for multiple parallel projects/workstreams.
- Proactively identify, assess, and propose mitigation plans for risks related to timeline, scope, technical debt, resources, workflow, and operations.
- Build and maintain the risk register, escalation framework, and contingency plans for the entire project portfolio.
- Take charge of recruitment planning and resource planning for each stage of the organization.
Delivery & Execution
- Take full responsibility for the product development process, ensuring delivery is on time, within scope, and meets the committed quality standards.
- Develop and execute a delivery strategy aligned with the organization’s OKRs/KPIs and the direction from the parent company.
- Manage release plans, control scope changes, and ensure smooth workflow across cross-functional teams.
- Organize and lead regular review sessions, including sprint reviews, release reviews, and quarterly planning.
- Support the PO team in reviewing SRS, product tracking, and cross-team alignment, including Dev × MKT and internal × external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Dev Lead to review solution approaches and technical issues during project operations.
- Coordinate with development teams and stakeholders on product demos, UAT, and go-live planning.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Act as the internal focal point, ensuring smooth information flow between teams and stakeholders.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including partners and the parent company in Japan, throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide clear and structured periodic progress reports for both technical and non-technical stakeholders; participate in Kanbu meetings, SLA reviews, and reporting sessions with the Japan side.
Process Improvement & Culture
- Standardize and continuously improve development activities, including planning, estimation, risk management, dependency tracking, and stakeholder communication.
- Lead or co-lead periodic Process Audits, identify bottlenecks, and optimize Agile/Scrum workflows across the organization.
- Build a transparent working culture emphasizing ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Proactively drive AI adoption in development processes, team management, and organizational operations optimization.
Requirements
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, Product Manager, Delivery Manager, or Engineering Manager, with experience managing cross-functional teams of up to 50 people.
- Experience managing delivery for technology products; experience in Fintech, Banking, Securities, or complex financial systems is preferred.
- Experience working with Japanese clients, partners, or markets; understanding of Japanese business culture and working style.
- Experience working with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, including requirement alignment, progress tracking, and escalation handling.
- Experience implementing Agile/Scrum in medium- to large-scale software development environments.
Professional Knowledge
- Strong understanding of the full SDLC: requirement analysis, system design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Ability to understand technical documentation, analyze requirements, and communicate effectively with technical teams.
- Understanding of security compliance, high availability, incident management, RCA, and production support.
- Knowledge of web/mobile architecture, APIs, microservices, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of AI and the ability to guide AI adoption in product development and operational optimization.
- Knowledge of trading/forex, order management, charting, crypto wallets, KYC, and payments is a strong advantage.
