About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious and knowledgeable Business Development Manager to expand our footprint in the aquaculture sector. The role focuses on promoting and selling our portfolio of aquaculture inputs and solutions, including shrimp and fish feed ingredients, functional additives, health products, and farm management solutions.

This is a high-impact position for someone with deep understanding of aquaculture practices, strong customer networks, and proven ability to drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Expansion: Develop and execute strategies to increase our market share in the aquaculture sector (shrimp and fish).
  • Business Development: Identify, pursue, and secure new clients including feed mills, integrators, farmers, distributors, and hatcheries.
  • Client Engagement: Build long-term relationships with stakeholders by understanding their farming and feed requirements, and offering value-driven solutions.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on aquaculture industry trends, farmer needs, disease patterns, and competitor activities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with technical, supply chain, and marketing teams to deliver high-quality service and product positioning.
  • Sales Execution: Prepare and deliver proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report sales performance against targets; recommend course corrections where needed.

Brand Representation: Represent the company at aquaculture expos, trade fairs, seminars, and farmer meetings.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries Science, Aquaculture, Life Sciences, Business, or Agriculture (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in sales or business development within aquaculture, feed, or animal health industry.
  • Strong understanding of shrimp/fish farming practices, feed inputs, health products, and farmer dynamics.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to identify opportunities and solve customer challenges.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to farming regions and industry events.

Employee headquarters would be in Mekong delta
