Assistant Logistics Manager
Position Summary
The Assistant Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing end-to-end logistics operations, including outbound delivery, warehouse management, 3PL coordination, and import/export activities. This role ensures fitness equipment and related products are delivered accurately, on time, and in excellent condition to both B2B and B2C customers while maintaining operational efficiency and cost control.
Key Responsibilities
1. Logistics & Delivery Management
- Manage daily outbound logistics activities, delivery scheduling, routing, and dispatch planning.
- Monitor delivery performance and ensure achievement of service level agreements (SLAs).
- Coordinate installation and white-glove delivery services for commercial customers.
- Manage relationships with transportation providers and third-party logistics (3PL) partners.
- Resolve delivery issues, damage claims, and customer complaints through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Monitor COD reconciliation and collaborate with Finance on payment collection.
2. Warehouse Operations
- Supervise receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, and shipping activities.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts and stock reconciliation.
- Maintain warehouse safety, operational efficiency, and compliance with company standards.
- Coordinate warehouse capacity, layout optimization, and inventory management.
- Oversee spare parts, accessories, and returnable packaging management.
3. Import & Export Coordination
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure accurate customs documentation, HS code classification, and duty compliance.
- Support import/export shipments, intercompany transfers, and warranty-return logistics.
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure compliance with Vietnam customs regulations.
4. Planning, Reporting & Cost Control
- Prepare logistics performance reports and KPI dashboards.
- Support sales and customer service teams with delivery commitments and order tracking.
- Participate in demand planning and capacity planning activities.
- Monitor logistics costs and identify opportunities for operational improvements and savings.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Procurement, and HQ Supply Chain teams.
- Support vendor evaluation and logistics service provider selection.
- Ensure logistics operations align with business objectives and customer commitments.

Qualifications & Experience
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations.
- Experience managing delivery operations and 3PL providers.
- Hands-on experience with ERP/WMS systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Good command of English (written and spoken).
Preferred
- Experience in import/export and customs clearance processes.
- Knowledge of Vietnam trade regulations and customs procedures.
- Experience in consumer durable goods, industrial products, or large-item distribution.
- Experience supporting B2B project deliveries and installation activities.
