Senior Network Operations Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure using Cisco ACI switches and Cisco/Huawei routers and switches.
• Monitor and maintain ACI Multi-Site fabric health (using NDO – Nexus Dashboard Orchestrator).
• Perform routine health checks, firmware upgrades, patching, and configuration backups.
• Investigate and resolve issues related to fabric connectivity, endpoint reachability, EPGs, contracts, L3Outs, etc.
• Manage Tenants, VRFs, BDs, EPGs, Contracts, L3Outs, Service Graph across multiple sites.
• Monitor and optimize inter-site routing using MP-BGP EVPN, OSPF/BGP for L3Outs.
• Manage security policies across tenants and ensure segmentation is enforced properly.
• Work with InfoSec to audit traffic flows, firewall integrations, and zoning policies.
• Maintain detailed network diagrams, configuration documentation, and standard operating procedures.
• Ensure the reliability and performance of network systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure seamless integration of network solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Document network configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Manage the network connectivity in a hybrid cloud environment.

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience on Cisco ACI Multi-SITE technologies (NDO and APIC Controllers)
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience on VPCs, L3Out, L2Out, VRF, Tenant, MP-BGP, ISN.
• Hands-on experience on multi-vendor network device i.e. Cisco and Huawei routers.
• In-depth understanding and experience on Routing Protocols (BGP, OSPF, HSRP/VRRP).
• In-depth understanding and experience on Switching technologies (Ether-channel, MCLAG, VPC, STACKING, VLANs, STP etc.
• In-depth understanding of WAN technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience with network automation and scripting preferred.
• Knowledge of cloud networking solutions.
