Middle Automation Test - European Bank

Domain: Banking / Finance (Core Banking, Payment, Integration)

Job Description:

● Analyze business requirements and technical documentation (BRD, SRS, API Specs) within banking systems

● Design and develop automation test scripts for:

• API Testing (REST/SOAP)
• Web/Mobile Testing (if applicable)
• Converting manual test cases into automation scripts

● Perform different types of testing, including:

• Functional Testing
• Regression Testing
• Integration Testing (Upstream → Core → Downstream)

● Set up and maintain automation testing frameworks

● Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines

● Analyze test results, investigate logs, and collaborate with Dev/BA teams to resolve bugs

● Ensure system quality following banking standards (high reliability, high security)

Requirements:

Mandatory:

● Bachelor’s degree in IT or related fields

● Minimum 2 years of experience in Automation Testing

● Experience working in Banking/Finance domain

● Proficient in at least one automation tool/framework:

• Selenium / Serenity / Appium
• Or equivalent tools (Playwright, Cypress, etc.)

● Experience in API testing:

• Postman / RestAssured / Karate

● Strong understanding of:

• SDLC, STLC
• Test Design Techniques

● Experience working with:

• Git, CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)

● Strong debugging and log analysis skills

Preferred Qualifications:

● Experience with:

• Microservices architecture
• Kafka / MQ / Redis

● Understanding of:

• Core Banking systems (T24, Card, Payment Hub, IBFT, etc.)

● Experience in performance testing (JMeter, etc.)

● Programming knowledge in:

• Java (for automation purposes)

● Ability to build automation frameworks from scratch
