In this role, you can test real robots in physical environments, test virtual robots in simulated environments, automate API tests, and automate systems-level testing. The ideal candidate is hands-on and eager to work with cutting-edge robotics technology.
1. Key Responsibilities
• Test Planning & Execution:
o Review and analyze system specifications to define test cases.
o Create and maintain test plans.
o Execute test plans in both simulated environments and on actual hardware.
o Track defects, generate bug reports, and compile test reports.
• Process & Collaboration:
o Participate in implementing and improving QA processes and best practices.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met.
• Automation & Tools:
o Implement test automation for robotics systems.
o Develop and maintain automated software tests for APIs and other system
components.
2. Requirements
2.1. Minimum Qualifications
o 3+ years of experience in software Quality Assurance as an individual contributor.
o Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
o Proven experience creating, maintaining, and executing manual and automated test cases.
o Hands-on experience testing software that interacts with hardware, especially robotics.
o Familiarity with testing frameworks in Python/C++ (e.g., Pytest).
o Expertise in Linux ecosystems.
o Advanced knowledge of testing methodologies (black-box, white-box, regression,
BDD/TDD).
o Working knowledge of Agile principles (e.g., SCRUM).
o Experience with HTTP API testing.
2.2. Preferred Qualifications
o Knowledge of HWIL, simulations, and ROS.
o Basic understanding of embedded systems and electronics.
o Experience with robotics or hardware product QA.
o Familiarity with frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, Pytest, Playwright, Selenium, or similar tools.
o ISTQB certification.
o Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI).
