UK client - Banking/Financial Services

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with solid experience in the banking and

financial services domain to join our team. In this role, you will act as a bridge between

business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that business requirements are

accurately captured, analyzed, and translated into e?ective solutions. You will be working

closely with clients, product managers, and development teams to deliver high-quality

banking technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and validate business requirements

within the banking domain (retail, corporate, digital, or core banking).

• Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and workflows

for development teams.

• Collaborate with product managers, solution architects, and developers to design

e?ective solutions that meet business and regulatory needs.

• Perform gap analysis, impact assessment, and propose improvements to existing

processes and systems.

• Support system implementation, including test case preparation, UAT coordination,

and defect tracking.

• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in banking processes, compliance, and

customer journeys.

• Mentor junior business analysts and provide domain expertise to the team.

• Facilitate workshops, presentations, and training sessions for both business and

technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or

related field.

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 3 years in the

banking/financial services domain.

• Strong understanding of banking products and processes (e.g., core banking,

payments, lending, cards, digital banking).

• Hands-on experience with requirement elicitation, process modeling (BPMN, UML),

and documentation tools.

• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in banking (e.g., AML, KYC,

Basel).

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.

• Experience in Agile/Scrum environment is a plus.

• English communication: Fluent
