Senior Data Scientist / AI Engineer

A Senior Data Scientist designs and implements end-to-end ML/AI solutions, from exploratory analysis and feature engineering to production deployment. They collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering and Product teams to translate business problems into data-driven models, run experiments, and continuously monitor model performance. The role also includes mentoring junior team members and contributing to internal ML best practices.

Key Skills & Experience

• Overall Experience (*)
  • 7+ years of overall experience in data science / AI roles.

• GenAI & NLP Expertise (*)
  • Proven experience in developing GenAI solutions, including 2+ years of hands-on prompt engineering and building end-to-end GenAI workflows.
  • Strong background (5+ years) in NLP, Transformers, and deep learning models.

• Business Problem Solving
  • Strong business understanding and acumen with the ability to translate complex business problems into effective AI/DS solutions and deliver measurable impact.
• Technical Proficiency
  • Excellent command of Python and PySpark is mandatory, with strong experience in production-grade model development.
• Communication & Collaboration
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to business and technical stakeholders.
• Advanced AI Capabilities (Plus)
  • Ability to independently drive LLM or RAG, GenAI, Agentic AI, and NLP use cases, including end to end model development and application in real business scenarios.
• Domain Experience (Plus)
  • Prior experience in the healthcare domain is highly desirable.
