Azure API Engineer
- Deployment of Azure API Management and Azure Functions in SUTD’s Azure environment for the purpose of a centralized API management solution.
- Refactoring of up to ten (10) APIs between SUTD SAMS (Oracle PSFT), SUTD Finance (SAP S4 Hana) and .NET applications to Azure API Management based on the REST API protocol.
- Establishing endpoint connectivity to SUTD’s SAM, SUTD Finance and .NET application with the assistance of SUTD’s Azure administrator and Network engineer team members.
- Development of the API mapping, URIs, caching, retry policies, OData handling, and logic based on the existing APIs deployed in SUTD’s environment.
- Implement Data Segregation Controls to ensure sensitive finance/student data is logically separated within API flows and storage.
- Deploying Azure API Management monitoring with Azure Application Insights.
- Deploying Azure API Management logs and alerts.
- Conduct a knowledge-sharing session on the deployed Azure API Management solution.
